Dr. Gary Bean is an energetic young pediatrician with a rapidly expanding practice. His affiliation with many of the leading area hospitals led to a need for a new office. He wished for a place that was fun for his young patients while it handled the business needs for a laboratory, exam room, business office, and meeting room.
Blake-Drucker / Kay Architects designed an office with a bright red accent wall that slashed through the space, complete with windows scaled down to the size of the smallest patient. Uplights provide warm ambient light and give the waiting area a gentle feeling.
This job was completed in February 1988.
