The University of California,
San Francisco is one of the nation's leading institutions
for performing organ transplants. This project included
sterile facilities for human tissue work, a microsurgery
laboratory, and spaces for PCR and Coulter cell analysis
work. Bio-safety cabinets, laminar flow operating hoods,
and specialized laboratory gases were part of this project.
Support spaces for five transplantation surgeons, two faculty members, twelve research fellows and four staff employees were included in the scope of this project., including a conference room and offices.
