National Semiconductor Mixed Signals Laboratory
University of California at Berkeley
Cory Hall

BlakeDrucker Architects redesigned an outdated laboratory for the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Located on the Basement floor of an existing 1948 building, the room required upgraded lighting suitable for computer work. Also included was a high-tech audio-visual system that provides students with an unobstructed view of the lecture area and closed-circuit viewscreen. Special anti-static flooring was used to prevent any electrical disruption to the sensitive student work.

This project was finished on a strict timeline with no change orders. The project opened for class in the Spring Semester 2002.
